Lord Shri hari Vishnu took many incarnations of earth so that he could destroy the unrighteous and evil forces and free the human from the cycle of birth and death.
According to the Bhagavata (Hindu) Purana, Lord Sri Vishnu took different avatars from Satyuga to KaliYuga. Ten of them are famous which are called as 'Dashavatara'.
Lord Shri Vishnu is also known as Sri Narayana, Sri Trilok-nath, Sri Jagannath, Shri Vasudev, Sri Vithoba and Srihari.
Vaikuntha, Kshirsagar is the abode of Shri Lord Vishnu.
According to Hindu mythology, Mata Sri Lakshmi is the consort of Vishnu and she is the goddess of prosperity and wealth. On Sheshnag, Maa Sri Lakshmi is sitting near the feet of Lord Shri Vishnu.

भगवान श्री विष्णू अर्थात विश्व के पालनकर्ता.
भगवान श्रीहरि विष्णु ने धरती अनेक अवतार लिये ताकि वे अधर्म और बुरी शक्तियों को नष्ट कर सकें और मानव को जन्म और मृत्यु के चक्र से मुक्त कर सकें।
भागवत (हिंदू) पुराण के अनुसार, भगवान श्री विष्णु ने सतयुग से कलियुग तक चोबीस अलग-अलग अवतार लिए। उनमें से दस अवतार 'दशावतार' के रूप में प्रसिद्ध हैं।
भगवान श्री विष्णु को श्री नारायण, श्री त्रिलोकीनाथ, श्री इस्तदेव, श्री जगन्नाथ, श्री वासुदेव, श्री विठोबा और श्रीहरि के नाम से भी जाना जाता है।
वैकुंठ, क्षीरसागर भगवान विष्णु जी के निवास स्थान है।
हिंदू पौराणिक कथाओं के अनुसार, माता श्रीलक्ष्मी विष्णु जी की पत्नी हैं और वे समृद्धि तथा धन की देवी हैं। शेषनाग पे, माँ श्री लक्ष्मी श्री विष्णु जी के चरण कमल के पास बैठी हैं।
