Shri Khandoba means Shri Khanderai or Shri Malhari Martand.

Sri Malhari Martand is a very popular Hindu deity mainly in Maharashtra, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.

Shri Khandoba is the Kuldaivat of many families in Maharashtra. That is why Shri Khandoba puja has a very important place in various main religious traditions of many family.

According to Hindu purana, Sri Khandoba is considered an incarnation of Lord Mahadev.

Shri Khanderai had two wives, Devi Mahlsa and Devi Banai.

Malhari, Khanderai, Martandabhairava, Mahlasakanth, Ravalnath, Yelkoti are few other names of Shri Khandoba raya.

श्री खंडोबा अर्थात श्री खंडेराय या श्री मल्हारी मार्तण्ड.

श्री मल्हारी मार्तंड मुख्य रूप से महाराष्ट्र, कर्नाटक और आंध्र प्रदेश में एक बहुत लोकप्रिय हिंदू देवता हैं ।

श्री खंडोबा महाराष्ट्र में कई परिवारों के कुलदैवत हैं | इसीलिये परिवार के विविध मुख्य धार्मिक परंपराओ में श्री खंडोबा का बहुत महत्वपूर्ण स्थान है।

पुणे जिले में श्रीक्षेत्र जेजुरी को श्री खंडोबा का मूल स्थान माना जाता है, एक साल में चार बड़ी यात्राएं जेजुरी में होती हैं जैसे चैत्री, पौषी, श्रावणी और माघी ।
श्री खंडेराय कि विधिवत रूप से पूजा की जाती है, और इन यात्राओंको त्योहारों का स्वरूप होता है।
