Balumama was born in a small village called Akkol in Karnataka in 1892.
Balumama's father name was Mayappa and mother's name was Sundara.
Balumama's livings was very simple, he used to wear simple shirt-Dhoti.
Sant shri Balumama was a guru and Yogi(incarnation of Lord Shiva by his followers belief).
Sant Shri Balumama took Samadhi at Adamapur in Maharashtra.
Balumama use to follow simple teachings by which he helped many people and his followers.
Sant Shri Balumama never believed in superstitions and also All these joy, peace , satisfaction, desires and fear lie at his feet.
Balumama had Shri Vitthal-Rakhumai as his Gurus.
There are couple of temples of Sant Shri Balumama in Maharashtra (Adampaur and Metake)
Sant Shri Balumama always firmly said that knowledge is life and ignorance is death.

बाळूमामांचा जन्म कर्नाटकातील अक्कोल नावाच्या छोट्या गावात 1892 मध्ये झाला होता.
बाळूमामांच्या वडिलांचे नाव मयप्पा आणि आईचे नाव सुंदरा होते.
बाळूमामांची राहणी अगदी साधी होती, ते साधा शर्ट-धोती घालायचे .
संत श्री बाळूमामा एक गुरु आणि महान योगी होते (त्यांच्या अनुयायांच्या श्रद्धेने भगवान शिवांचा अवतार होते).
संत श्री बाळूमामा यांनी महाराष्ट्रातील अदमापूर येथे समाधी घेतली.
संत श्री बाळूमामा सोप्या शिकवणींचे अनुसरण करायचे ज्याद्वारे त्यांनी बर्‍याच लोकांना आणि त्याच्या अनुयायांना मदत केली.
संत श्री बाळूमामा यांनी अंधश्रद्धांवर कधीच विश्वास ठेवला नाही.
संत श्री बाळूमामा हे श्री विठ्ठल-रखुमाई यांना आपले गुरु मानायचे
महाराष्ट्रात संत श्री बाळूमामाची दोन मंदिरे आहेत (अदमापूर व मेटक).
संत श्री बाळूमामा नेहमी ठामपणे म्हणाले की ज्ञान हे जीवन आहे आणि अज्ञान म्हणजे मृत्यू होय.
